How do I register to volunteer?
Volunteer registration is online or by mail.
I have a large group that wants to volunteer. How can I sign the whole group up?
We are requesting that each volunteer fill out the registration form. As a group leader, you email out the information form to each volunteer in your group or you can collect their contact information and sign them up online yourself, or mail in their information. If you have additional questions or need more assistance, please contact Pablo Munoz at 817-299-9629 ext. 1800 or email email@example.com.
Where do I pick up my volunteer shirt?
Shirts for the Zetnick Arlington Winter Run volunteers will be available at the Maverick Activities Center prior to your race shift. Please arrive a few minutes early to get your shirt and sign in at the Volunteer Registration Desk You can also pick up your race day volunteer shirts at volunteer orientation.
Can I get community service hours for volunteering at the Zetnick Arlington Winter Run?
Yes. When you fill out your volunteer information form, please check the box for community service hours.
How do I get confirmation of my volunteer hours?
We encourage each volunteer to bring any school forms that need to be signed with you to your scheduled shift. We will have some blank volunteer forms available at the Volunteer Registration Desks and on race day. Race day volunteers should proceed to the volunteer desk after your scheduled shift to have your paperwork signed. We strongly recommend you have any required documentation signed at the time of your volunteer shift to ensure you have your paperwork for any deadlines. As this is a seasonal event toward the end of the semester, there can be a delay in getting signed paperwork after the event.
Do you accept court ordered community service?
We do not accept court ordered community service and cannot verify any hours for the courts.
Is there a volunteer orientation? Who needs to attend?
We will host volunteer orientation for RACE DAY VOLUNTEERS only at 6 pm, Wednesday, November 27 at the YMCA of Arlington Central Branch, 2200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76013. Volunteer shirts will be available at orientation.
Where do I park on race day to volunteer?
Parking is free and is available on the north side of the Maverick Activities Center, (The MAC), 500 W. Nedderman, Arlington, TX 76019
I need more information about my volunteer job. Who do I contact?
We will email out volunteer information prior to the race. Race day volunteers are encouraged to attend orientation at 6 pm, Wednesday, November 27 at the YMCA of Arlington Central Branch, 2200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76013, for the most specific information available.
